These resin bag charms are certainly always on trend. They give that fun pop of personality! So, let’s make some.
this awesome idea!
They are great because you can use them as keychains, hang them from a tote, bag or purse, or even luggage. What makes them stand out is that they are layered with beautiful micro glitter, as well as Mexican ephemera. But you could use whatever type of collage images you want.

How to make resin bag charms
Directions:
Make sure to work on a flat and even surface. If you are using two part resin wear a mask and work in a well ventilated area
Line a work area with wax paper, I like to use a cafeteria tray lined with the waxed paper. This makes it easy to move around to dry.
Mix two parts equal resin according to the manufacturer’s direction and add a thin coat at the bottom of each mold. Make sure it is evenly covered with no gaps.
Sprinkle assorted colors of glitter on the wet resin and let cure until firm. If you are using UV resin, you can cure it under the UV lamp. Otherwise it will take several hours to harden.

Cut out images of your choice (printed on LaserJet or InkJet glossy photo paper), and use white craft glue to affix them to the cured resin inside the silicone mold.
Make sure the edges are fully sealed down.
Add any other items you would like, sequence, small beads, little clay flowers, etc.
Using either two-part resin or UV resin, mix up another layer of the resin and pour it on top until everything is thoroughly covered.

Let it fully cure and then remove the resin in pieces from the mold. Use sandpaper or a rotary tool to smooth out the edges.

Last coat of resin
Mix up one more batch of resin put on some gloves and smooth it over the top of each of the resin pieces. This will give it a nice finished look. For my project I decided to use UV resin for this portion. It worked great!

After you add the coat of UV resin, slide them to cure under a UV lamp. If using traditional two-part resin, add this last coat and let them cure for severla hours until fully hardened.
