I am so upset about this but at the same time I feel bad by my reaction.
My 1st child is turning 1 in December and I just took a pregnancy test and it was positive. I’ve cried about it and I’ve even got mad at my husband. I feel it’s way too soon to have another baby. We don’t even have another room for the new baby… we would have to buy a new house.
I’m going through alllllll the feelings right now and I just want to ask for positivity please. I need someone to tell me it’s going to be ok and the age difference is fine. I’ve just been going crazy thinking of all the cons.
It doesn’t even feel real, I am very much in denial and I’m hoping that the two positive tests I’ve gotten have been faulty lol.

I think everything happens for a reason. I can only imagine the feeling and it may seem like it’s not the right thing, right now but everything always works out how it’s supposed to. As far as rooms, I think if you have the means for another house go for it, but babies really don’t need a lot that first year, there are many options and your kiddos will love each other and grow up together, it will be amazing.

@iisiis,
thank you for your comment!! The room situation just made me feel bad because for our first baby we did her nursery really nice and she has all her stuff there . I would hate for her room to be crowded or have to share. I also feel bad that the new baby won’t get a nursery like that. I’m just in shock

your feelings are valid! it feels scary right now but soon it will slowly sink in. I'm not going to lie, it's going to be hard but it's so rewarding, and when you are your two little ones love on each other, all your worries and stress will melt away! my first two are 18 months apart. I was scared but the pros really outweigh the cons. My oldest is so sweet and teaches my Dec baby, tries to "read" to her. we have a very small house too. NOW, we are expecting #3 and we really feel the heat! Dec baby and #3 will be 15 months apart and this time, we are really questioning our life decisions but also pretty excited. We don't even have a car that can fit 3 car seats across! but we are just taking it one step at a time, we will make everything work and so will you and your hubby!

Your feelings are totally valid. I just wanted to say that my older sister and I are 10 months and 3 weeks apart, and we are still best friends. I love experiencing life at the same time as her. And we shared a room until high school. Everything will work out the way it’s supposed to. Sending love
